Dimensioned and scribed openings for the wing spars. Used a saw cutter for the spar box rectangular openings. They are pretty easy to do, but I took extra time to make sure my measurements were ok. I did not rely on the lines scribed on the wing root as they might have been off. I did not have to be accurate to the thousands of an inch as he spar box itself actually carries the load. I wanted to make sure there is no binding of the wing root with the spars, and also that the box has plenty of fuse material to bolt to.
Image 2 shows what the opening for the wing spars should look like. I trimmed the goobers off of the edges. It does not have to be perfect, but should be big enough to allow the spars to slide in easily without rubbing.
