Brief Description:  Shape and Installed Opera Windows

After the window is prepped, the glass is cut to fit to the window recess and then shaped with a heat gun in preparation to be glued in place.

While the window is attached with clecos, it was slowly shaped with the heat gun; more clecos, more heat, until the window is completely attached to the fuselage and left to cool

After the window has cooled, it was then glued with epoxy to the fuselage and riveted in place to dry. The use of a heat gun while gluing is necessary to help to assure a good fit, then rivet in place of each cleco. The next step was to clean up any excess epoxy inside and out. Once the epoxy cured, the rivets were drilled out and removed.
