The vertical L angle that goes down to the heel rest was formed for both sides and the three L angles that go from the vertical L to the firewall were cut and drilled. In doing this, the shape of the lower front of the fuse is finalized and the sides and bottom skins are joined.
On hint I have is to tape the skins to the bottom of the fuselage and pull them tight and then backdrill the upper line of rivets that join the side to the bottom skin Then with it still taped, locate and drill the L angle in place.
