Brief Description: Fixing the mis-drilled stab ribs
I got an email from Mark Townsend of CanZac and he advised me that the stab ribs that I drilled incorrectly when I installed the rear stab spar upside down could be reworked rather than be replaced. He suggested cutting pieces of L aluminum and installing them inside of the mis-drilled rib flanges. The L is riveted to the side of the rib and then the holes from the rear spar (correctly oriented this time!) can be redrilled into the surface of the new bracket. It was a simple and elegant solution that saved me from waiting for new ribs to be shipped!
'L' pcs cut, drilled and primed
'L' pcs riveted in place with A4's
