Man, Spring Break and work sure get in the way of progress on the plane!
I started off drilling the hinge to the elevator (took a long time ensuring it was positioned correctly), and then marked and hand filed the triangular opening throught the top and bottom elevator skin for the control horn brace. The locating of the control horns and the positioning and drilling of the brace took up the rest of the time. I had to stop at this point as I need to get some more "L" material out of the crate, which is still in storage at PODS.
As a side note, I am happy that Matt from Matronics has taken over the Kitlog software. I have emailed him with some suggestions and he has already made some of the changes! If one of them works as promised, this will post with paragraph breaks online rather than having the text all crunched together.
