Brief Description: Started working on the elevator
Back to the shop this evening for a few more hours.
After all of the fun with the fiberglass tips on the stab, I was glad to move onto the elevator! Things went pretty quickly. I clecoed together the center ribs to the sub-spar and marked all of the centre lines on the skeleton parts. Then I drilled and cleceoed the ribs to the front of the elevator skin. I flipped the skin over (per the instructions) and drilled the ribs to the skin being careful to stop any warping. You need to keep in mind that the center two ribs are held in place using A5's rather than A4's so you need to drill the appropriate holes.
