I went to HCI and purchased four long 7/16" bolts and took them to the hanger. Cut off the threads and tapers the ends on the grinding wheel and buffer pad. Adjusted cushions under wings and moved wings into fuselage and make adjustments until I had a hole lined up enough to install the drift pins that I had just fabricated. Once I had a bottom drift pin in place, I continued making adjustments until I had a second hole on the top of the center section lined up enough for the second drift pin. Did this for each side of the airplane. Once again re-leveled the fuselage and attached more plumb lines across the leading edge of wings to check for forward or aft sweep in wings. Measured, and tweeked and leveled until I fet that I had everything very close to where they would eventually live. Marked the center line position for the holes that would be drilled in rear spar attach to fuselage and still maintain the 5/8" center to edge distance called out in the plans.
Drift pin installed
Drift pin from second angle
Centerline with edge distance of around 3/4 of inch
