I located the material to rebuild the aileron pushtubes. Measured and cut the tubes to length. Marked holes for attaching the ends. Marked a centerline on end caps. Predrilled holes in push tube ends. Inserted end caps to the centerline marked on the caps so that the line could be seen through the predrilled holes. Drilled holes to #40. When I was content with the placement I final drilled holes to #30. Painted inside of push tubes and allowed to dry over lunch. Inserted end caps, clecoed and then riveted with blind rivets as called out in plans. Installed threaded bearings and set length per plans and tighted lock nut. Fabricated the spacers for installingpushtubes to aileron belcrank. Installed push tube in the wings and torqued bolts. Leveled the fuselage and set up a table on each side of the fuselage. Layed the wings on the tables and positioned them for fitting. Pushed wing spar into the center section and sete up string plumb lines off trailing edge of wings. Stopped for the evening.
