Brief Description:  shipping options and payment

Talked to Zenith today about shipping options (and paid 'em some more money). I wish I could work out a way to unload the 12 x 4 crate at my house but my work schedule is so erratic that I might not be there when it arrives and don't want to burden my wife with these logistics. The extra cost to deliver the crate to the house is minimal and would be very convenient. Option two is to deliver it to the trucking terminal and pick it up myself. This is what I'm going to do.
Made a reservation for a 6 x 12 foot open trailer and 'm going to use the wife's car to pick it up at the trucking terminal which is fortunately a 24/7 facility (one good thing about living in So Cal).
Scheduled ship date March 30th. In-between now and then I'll be working on the motor and shop/garage.
I also bought a case of aviation primer (Tempo green) in rattle cans. I've been going round and round about this issue but I think this is the easiest (and least expensive) solution. I think the 6061-T6 will last for a long time on its own so my thinking is the rattle can primer is the preverbial icing on the cake. I'm counting on12 cans plus or minus should do the whole aircraft (about $100). I'll just be sure to clean/etch well before I spray and let it cure for a day or so (maybe more) before I start fitting pieces together for final assembly. I've tried to look for other people's experience with the rattle cans and it seems to vary widely.
