Had to remake the forward stabilizer tube as it was too short for my modified tail feathers. The top longeron was drilled for the stabilizer connector sleeves to be centred and welded in place. Threaded rod was pushed through the sleeves and stabilizer connectors which gave a good view of when everything was vertical. The vertical stabilizer connection tabs were cut and clamped between a square 5/8" spacer which was laid along the top longeron. This held them in pace for welding. The tube resting on top of the spacer is the forward vertical stabilizer tube just lining up the correct distance.
