I installed fuel level senders on top of the tanks. The sender requires additional clearance, so i needed to cut a small hole in the top of the LE skin. I made a small fiberglass domed panel to cover the hole.
i'm using thin nutplates and #6 screws to hole the panel in place. since the LE skin is so thin, I used my hand squeeze to dimple the skin for the countersink rivets.
