Finished with the tip fairing. It looks pretty good in the pictures, but not as good on close inspection. I will likely glass it over. One of the problems (not related to using screws) is that there is a gap between the fairing at the forward end of the rudder where the skin is bent to wrap around the counter weight. The gap is at the corners where the bend radius doesn't match the radius of the fairing. This will catch water if the plane is out in the rain, so I will fill the gap and glass over the screws to eliminate the problem.
