Got to try out my new tool for priming surface prep. It's the Taylor pneumatic DA sander with the 5" velcro attachment for holding scotchbrite pads. It does a fantastic job on larger pieces, but on small pieces or inside the curved flange of the spar the scotchbrite tends to fly off. Taylor makes a 2" version (that costs twice as much-go figure) that I may pick up for smaller parts.
Got all the parts primed after surface prep/cleaning.
