Touched up the spots that didn't get good coverage when primed last night. This was really easy with a little brush, it seems you could actually brush the primer on and get a nice job instead of spraying. I would consider this for a small batch of smaller parts, but not for large batches or skins just because of the time involved.
I finally got to drive (ok squeeze) my first rivets!! Now it feels like I am building an airplane. I had agonized over whether to spend the money on the expensive 'Main Squeeze' squeezer, but now I am glad I did. It takes quite a bit of force to set an AD4 rivet with this squeezer, and if the mechanical advantage compared to the competition is as much better as is claimed, I wouldn't want to be using the other ones. I also rationalized that it is a whole lot cheaper than a pneumatic squeezer, so actually I *saved* a lot of money by buying this one.
