Cleaned, Scotchbrited, and Alumipreped/Alodined the rest of the parts for the VS. The added color doesn't pick up well in the pictures, but the big splotch on the inside of the skin is easy to see. This is where I dumped on some of the Alodine, it made a darker spot before I brushed it out over the surface. I also prepped and alodined the strips on the outside of the skin where the rivet holes are. I couldn't decide whether I should just alodine the whole skin inside and out, and settled on this as a compromise. I wanted to have some corrosion protection on the outside of the skin under the rivet heads. Hopefully, tomorrow night is priming.
