Brief Description:  Vertical Stabilizer Surface Prep

Cleaned, Scotchbrited, and Alodined the inside of the skin. I decided to do this after getting in touch with technical support at Akzo Nobel, who recommended doing this for maximum adhesion of the epoxy based primer. I got the impression that this was not absolutely necessary, but they wouldn't say that for liability reasons. This is quite a bit of additional work, I may try a few test articles with just scotchbriting and cleaning with MEK to see how well it seems to adhere. Of course, to really do the experiment I would have to wait 40 years or so to see if there was more corrosion one way or the other.
