Cut into the pitch trim wiring and interfaced with the pitch servo. The pitch servo/autopilot will automatically trim the airplane for pitch if this connection is made. When the servo is not powered, it acts as a pass-through for pitch trim commands. I verified that this worked by applying +-12v to the pitch trim inputs to the pitch servo.
