Installed pitot and wired heat controller. I had to cut the tubes a bit shorter to make hooking up the pitot/AOA lines easier. Pitot is RED, AOA is BLUE. When the wiring was finished I applied power at the wing root. The tip of the pitot got warm quickly, almost too hot to touch. Not sure if that is what is supposed to happen, but it was quite cool in the shop so maybe that triggers the heater to come on. I had purchased a nicer leather-like pitot cover to keep contaminants out. At this point I can close up the access plates on the bottoms of both wings, the last thing to install is the roll servo in the right wing, which I do not have. I have ordered the Bob Archer wingtip VOR/ILS/LOC antenna and RG400 to install in the right wingtip, once that is in I will put that tip on.
