Brief Description: Prepare Horizontal Stabilizer Parts for Assembly
These few steps took a lot of time. I deburring many holes and dimpled the understructure and skins. I like the hand squeezer and use it as often as possible. This was the first use of my C-Frame tool and it took a little time to get it "calibrated" for dimpling the skin. I accidently "dimpled" the skin when it slipped out one of the holes. The dent is on the bottom side and not to bad so I left it to be addressed later. (My adult sons dimpled a couple of holes while they visited at Christmas. They were very interested in what Dad was up to!) The edges of all the parts were smoothed. I used an edge deburring tool that made this work go faster. I chose to not prime the alclad parts and prime the rest. I used a can of Dupli-Color automotive self-etching primer. I sprayed them all as they were hanging from a string across the garage.
