Primed the firewall components first thing this morning. Rain and cold meant it was slow to dry so took a lot longer than normal. Started on the 704 bulhead which is the main bulkhead where the wings join onto the fuselage. Most of the work is already done by Vans in their factory, but still plenty to do to get it ready. Clecoed and drilled components, deburred holes and countersunk some. Fabricated a few angles and spacers and lightened the hinge brackets for the control stick assembly. Fitted the control stick assembly. Fitted platenuts to the main frames. Also had my medical for my Pilot Licence today.
