Completed assembly and wiring of the switch / circuit breaker sub-panel as follows:
1. Laid out holes for all components on sub-panel. Used masking tape on both sides to protect the aluminum from scratching. Drilled all holes on the drill press.
2. Prepped and primed the sub-panel, followed by a yellow finish enamel.
3. Labeled each function with clear Dymo tape.
4. Installed the varous circuit breakers and switches into their respective holes.
5. Wired all switches and breakers using mil spec wire and mil spec PIDG terminals. All crimps were perfomed with high quality crimping tools. Laced wires as needed with plastic zip ties.
6. Terminated all main instrument panel wires in gold molex pins. Separated avionics buss connections and avionics master switch connections into a 12-pin molex housing. Installed 3-pin molex housing on battery buss instrument panel wires.
7. All fuselage wiring was done with sufficient pigtail to reach the intended area of the fuselage for future connection.
