Brief Description: Glareshield covering

Covered glareshield as follows: 1. Using flat black marine vinyl, did a rough cut of the fabric and cut split for roll bar brace. 2. Trimmed around roll bar brace and did rough cuts for avionics fan and GPS antenna. 3. Masked off boot cowl area just above and aft of the holes for the windshield hold down strip. Cleaned aluminum with acetone. 4. Trimmed outer edge of fabric again, allowing approximately 1" excess for fitting. 5. Applied contact cement to back of fabric and to the aluminum in the boot cowl area. 6. Once cement was tacky, applied fabric and worked out wrinkes. Trimmed fabric edges and removed masking tape. 7. Fabricated a trim plate for the GPS antenna. Modified a fan grille for the avionics fan. Cemented both in place. 8. Glued glareshield edge trim in place.
