Brief Description: ELT Mounting

Fitted Ameri-King AK-451 ELT under baggage floor as follows: 1. Cut off vertical portion of ELT mount to minimize weight and interference. 2. Cleco'd bottom and baggage skins on center fuselage. 3. Positioned ELT mount on bottom skin and marked the 4 mounting holes. 4. Drilled mounting holes to #6 machine screws. 5. Drilled, countersunk and mounted #6 nutplates on ELT mounting rack. Temporarily bolted ELT rack in place. 6. Performed test fit of ELT, ensuring adequate access to connectors and controls. 7. Removed ELT, mounting rack, and skins until final assembly at a later date.
