Brief Description:  RH aileron frame assembly & skin fitting

Continued RH aileron assembly per Rans manuals as follows:

1. Deburred holes, filed and polished edges, buffed with scotchbrite, and wiped surfaces with alcohol. Primed all parts with self-etching primer, concentrating on mating surfaces and those that will be hard to reach once the frame is assembled.

2. Riveted frame together per rivet schedule. Attached aileron horn angle with AN3 bolts and washers.

3. Rolled leading edge of RH aileron skin using schedule 40 PVC pipe.

4. Marked centerlines of all rubs and lower spar. Attached skin to upper spar with cleco's.

5. Leveled aileron assembly on PVC posts, weighting with sand bags. Lined up rib centerlines through skin holes and drilled top skin to #40.

6. Flipped assembly over, weighted with sand bags and drilled lower skin to spar to #40, beginning in the center and working outward.

7. Drilled lower skin to ribs to #40.

Aileron assembly is now ready for drilling to #30, final prep and final assembly.
