Brief Description: RH wing - fitting of leading edge skin (1 of 2)

Fitted and drilled upper surface of leading edge as follows: 1. Drew spar reference line 0.45" from joggle across the width of the main spar. 2. Drew centerlines on all forward ribs. 3. Drilled a #40 hole where the centerline of rib #1 intesected the 0.45" reference line. 4. Cleco'd the leading edge in place using this starter hole. 5. Taped leading edge in place to align aft holes with the 0.45" reference line, 6. Drilled aft holes to #40 into the main spar, starting at the root and working outward. Cleco'd in place as drilling was done. 7. Beginning on center ribs and working outward, drilled rib holes to leading edge using a #40 drill and fastening with cleco's. 8. Enlagred all holes to #30 except for the outboard rib, which will wait until the tip skins are fitted.





Thes holes stay at #40 until the tips skins go on
