Continued installing hinge on the trim tab. After this was complete I riveted the front of the elevator where each rib attaches.
I then installed the center channel (riveted to ribs 3 and 4) and also the north/south extrusion with the tab that gets riveted to the front of the elevator and then I installed the elevator onto the H-Stab. The trailing edges lined up...Halleluljah!!!
I then proceeded to drill the skin to ribs 4,5 and 6, which I had gotten from Zenith undrilled. I clecoed each hole to hold the shape and then riveted each rib as I finished it.
Check the plans...five AS5 stainless steel rivets get installed on the center channel strap.
