I knew they would have to take some things apart to paint it, but it didn't really hit me until I saw all the parts all over the hanger. I worked so hard to put it all together, so it's really tough to see it all apart, but that's what it takes to paint it. I'll definitely feel better when it's back together. I hope they remember where all the spacer washers go and get the cables hooked back on. I'll need to do a really good preflight before I take it for a spin around the patch. It's really happening...so cool.
Updated to include picture of tail masking. You can see the base white is on and the masking for the color scheme including the RV12 logo. The rudder is back in place in order to get the masking line correct. Can't wait until it's ready....and of course it was a picture-perfect day here in Ohio (it's just mocking me, since I can't go flying).
