Worked on section 27 a bit out of order from the instructions since I like to do all the countersinking and most of the final drilling prior to Alodine. The instructions to machine countersink the reinforcement bars on page 27-04 are difficult to follow precisely since interpreting which holes fit a dimpled firewall can be deceiving. I put in a couple extra machine countersinks, but rectified the issue by drilling out the head of an AN426 rivet and glueing it in the countersink. Works farely well and since the head will be fit between 2 other pieces of metal I am not real worried about the glue holding. No cuts from the SS so far, but I have been careful to wear gloves at all times.
Next hurdle is figuring out where to drill holes for firewall penetrations and trying to decide when to attach the fiberfrax and SS shimstock on the front. I also need some clarification as to whether the firewall 2000 should replace the proseal, but I am thinking still proseal and simply use the firewall 2000 around the perimeter.
