Spent a little time today on the pax side door gap. Yesterday I forced a flox mixture into the gap to fill in any inconsistancies in the door frame and I'm really happy how it worked out. I now have a nice tight door to top fit. So today I broke the door loose from the cabin top and began the job of getting rid of the excess flox. This whole exercise will allow me to define a very nice and consistant gap. If you would have asked me how the doors were going to turn out a week ago I wouldn't have had anything good to say which is why I am very pleasently surprised how well they are turning out. I will most likely have something in the neighborhood of 40 hours per door but it is well worth it to get a nice fit. At OSH last week I saw quite the range of door finish work from sloppy to car door quality.
