Brief Description: Altimeter, Pitot Static and Transponder tests
Completed the paperwork for the Condition Inspection and made the proper entry in the Aircraft logbook. JR with Precision Static was out again today to perform the Pitot/Static and Altimeter tests. Within of few minutes after hooking up the test equipment, he told me he could tell there were no leaks. Cool!!! He proceeded to perform all of the tests and the equipment was found to be working properly. He produced the printout for me which promptly went into the Aircraft logbook. He also tested the transponder and found it to be perfect. Outstanding!! Thanks JR! All systems are good to go. Installed some non-skid material on the rudder/brake pedals, and also on the wing walks and steps. To top off the day, Lee took me up in his RV-7 and gave me a chance for some stick time around the airport practice area and in the pattern. Can a person have too much fun?? ;-)
