Brief Description:  Prop Balancing, Pitot/Static and miscellaneous

Full power run-ups with Prop Balancer. Beginning to make progress with this and expect to get under .10 Inches Per Second (IPS) soon. Lee and I modified the Tow Bar with a keeper cotter pin because it was popping off one side of the nose wheel during turning operations. Expect this is due to the now higher breakout force of the nose wheel. The big news for the day was that I have a bunch of air leaks in the Pitot/Static System. RJ with Precision Static was out today and to look things over. Turns out that I have some mis-matched hose/connectors. He indicated it's not un-common to find this because there are several part vendors for these systems and they are mostly incompatible with one another (I think he was just being kind...). I put in an order from Aircraft Spruce for early next week delivery. Should be able to rework the system and schedule RJ out late in the week. Submitted the paperwork to the FAA for the Airworthiness Inspection, so at least now I'm in the cue. Should hear something on this next week also.

Lee posted a video of a High RPM Prop balancing run on YouTube.
