Brief Description:  Riveting R Aux Tank Ribs

Tonight was the night to rivet the ribs of the right auxillary tank. With the ProSeal curing away, time was limited. Luckily, my good friend, Selma, was available to help me rivet. Since this was the first time for both of us, working with Proseal, it was quite an adventure. You remember the story about the Tar Baby and Briar Rabbit? Well, this is a great analogy for working with Proseal. The stuff sticks to EVERYTHING, especially since I laid down quite a bit of it. The good thing was that there was enough extra Proseal that when the clecos were removed, enough goo came out the hole so that the rivets were nicely encapsulated under the factory head. Throughout the process, we needed to clean the bucking bar, rivet gun and ourselves. All the clecos were dropped into jars, submerged in Acetone, to aid in cleanup later. All in all, we got everything riveted together. There are several rivets that are standing proud, but overall, I'm happy with the results. Great job, Selma!
