Tonight, I did a little more prosealing on the right auxillary tank. This time, I installed and back-riveted the stiffeners in place, along with the "extra" rivets on the other side of the skin. These "extra" rivets are the pre-punched ones that came in the skin, spaced for the normal leading edge ribs. Since fuel tank ribs were match-drilled into the auxillary tank, these rivet lines aren't used for anything in the final assembly. Therefore, they need to be filled with rivets and prosealed so they don't leak. I had an even better time with the sealant gun tonight and feel like I'm really getting the hang of it. It almost makes it enjoyable... Almost.. :)
