Today I started to install my air system. This will be needed to run the myriad of air tools that I will be using to build the plane. First task is to hookup the compressor to a hose reel. To support the reel, I made a double thick plank using two pieces of 3/4 ply, glued and screwed together. Then I lag screwed the thing to the wall studs and painted it to match the walls. I arranged it so that if I need a second reel, I can just move this one over and a second reel will fit next to it. I'm very happy with my compressor. It's another Harbor Freight cheapy, but I think it will do the job.
