Brief Description:  Finishing the Retractable Wheels

After installing the wheels, I put the shelf in on the bottom of the tables for holding stuff. Then I installed some nylon cord for retracting the wheels. So, when I want the wheels up (legs down), I pulled the cord. If I want the wheels down (legs up), I lift the edge of the table about 2 inches and the wheels drop and lock into place. All of the wheels have brakes on them, to keep the table from rolling away with the wheels down. In the end, I have 3 great tables that should last me a very long time. I'm very happy with how they turned out. I also, installed some 3/4" screen molding on the edges and sanded the whole thing to prevent splinters. Now it's time to build shelves and start inventorying the tools and aircraft parts.
