So after building the EAA tables to my own "custom" standards, I decided to go above and beyond by installing retracrable wheels. This would enable me to move easily move the tables around the shop, allowing me flexibility with the space. Also, I thought it would be a neat challenge.
3" locking castor wheels from Harbor Freight and 3" door hinges from Lowe's Aircraft Supply.
When installed correctly, the wheels can retract, setting the table down on its legs.
Lift the table slightly and the wheels drop into place. Now we're rolling!
