Brief Description:  Left Wingtip Sand to Fit

Today, I sanded the left wingtip to fit, using my benchtop belt sander, placed outside, on the ground. Using the belt sander and making it an iterative process helped me to sneak up on the proper cut marks to make the tips fit inside the small overlap of the wing skins. From there, it's time to match-drill the tip and then move on to my planned attach method. I have been wanting to use the "Hinge Attach Method" for my wingtips for two reasons. 1) The tips look a LOT better on the wings, with no bulges from attach screws, nor variation in gap widths, and 2) The tips become a LOT easier to take on and off for inspections or maintenance work, since all you have to do is slide the hinge pins out and the tips come right off. I've researched several "How To's" posted by other builders and decided on the variant that I liked the best. I plan to go slowly and get it right the first time.
