Tonight, I decided it was time to start closing up the wings, riveting the bottom skins on, which were dimpled some time ago. It's very difficult to reach the rivets when solo riveting with the gun in one hand and the bucking bar in the other, but Ifound that it was preferable to me to have control and "feel" over both halves of the job. This prevented me from making errors, like slipping off the rivet on the front or back. If one hand did slip, I knew not to pull the trigger, or to stop pulling instantly. It was slow going, but I got half of the inboard left bottom wing skin riveted.
