Today, I laid out locations for my (2) Comm whip antennas and match-drilled doubler plates onto the bottom skins. These antennas, as the name implies, are used for communications, so their performance is very important. Typically, builders install them on the belly of the airplane, but since I will have a belly pod there, I had to locate them out on the bottoms of the wings. They shouldn't be too visible, since the plane I'm building is a low-wing airplane, and the performance will likely be as good, if not better than the belly location.
