Today, we started the Horizontal Stabilizer. The first step involved deburring some very large pieces, but it was a snap with the bench grinder and Scotchbrite wheel. After clecoing the spar skin to the doubler and hinges, it was time to match drill everything. Then the task of deburring all the holes before riveting. Riveting went well, except I came up short on rivets. I'll have to order some more from Vans before I can continue. Aneta, spent some time with me and really boosted morale. She's more than 7 months pregnant now, so getting around isn't so easy. It won't be long and I'll have another helper in the making. ;)
