Worked on the AeroInjector. Like many tasks, there is back and forth to get to the end result.
1. Route throttle and mixture cables through clamps. You can only do this later if your clamps will open up to accept the cables. My clamps are already fastened in place (loosely) to the cables have to be fed through the clamps. 2. Open AI (AeroInjector) to expose slide. 3. Remove the mixture needle. 4. Route the throttle cable into the AI. 5. Bend the end of the cable. 6. Insert cable into the blue slide (can only be done with the slide removed, which is why the needle had to come out). 7. Reinsert the slide into the AI body. 8. Adjust the throttle cable so the AI is aligned with the intake manifold, adjust the positions of the clamps, and then back in the cockpit see how much of the throttle cable housing needs to be cut off to properly meet the throttle (photo 3). Mark it. 9. Back at the AI, pull out the blue slide and the inner cable a good distance to it's well inside the cable housing (so you don't cut the inner cable when cutting the housing). 10. Use a cutoff wheel to cut the cockpit-end of the cable housing. 11. Back at the AI, push the cable back into the housing and place the blue slide in the AI body. 12. Reinsert the mixture needle.
That's as far as I got tonight.
Slide with bent solid cable in place.
Throttle and mixture cables loosely clamped in place.
