The corners of each part are chamfered to meet together within the longeron angle. On the top brackets I needed to shave off a lot more material from my chamfers, which I did with a coarse file, fine file, and the Scotch Brite wheel.
On the lower brackets I needed to shave some material, but not as much as on the top brackets.
