I thought it might be a good idea to put the nose rib that I cut next to the master form block. This was less than thrilling. The profile of nose did not match and then compared the form block itself. Wasn't going to work for me. I scrapped the forms and made new ones but this time I used the router and the master form block to create a perfectly matched nose profile. I also decided that it would be a good idea to get the lathe out and create bushings for the form blocks. My previous attempts to find the necessary size at the local hardware stores were unsuccessful but looking at the MDF blocks after a few times of use, I could see some distortion of the 3/16" hole. Thought making the bushings on the mini-lathe would be quick but taking more time than I thought. Tomorrow night I should finish up the bushings and begin to cut out all the nose rib blanks.
