Brief Description: Fuel lines.
|

Started to install the 3/8" fuel lines from the tank to the selector valve. Starting from the outside skin, I put the tube inside a "spring bender" and worked it through the landing gear weldment. Then leaving the spring in place, i pushed the tube through and guided it through the snap bushings and into the fuel valve mounting area, Once in place, i was just barely able to use the hand tube bender to make the 90 deg bend un to the valve.
Moved to the other side and repeated. Of course, the lines have to cross at the valve, so I had to put in a couple of "jogs" to make cleanence All in all, a pretty tight area to work in. And then, i had to add the brake lines.
Bent as much of the brake lines as i could on the bench. Then, installed and worked them through the snap bushings and landing gear weldment. Again, i cut them off a bit long to mark the final length in place.
