Brief Description: Installing the steps (Left and Right)
Laid out the rivet pattern and drilled the step mounting flange as per instructions. Had to trim the tube length about 1/4" to mount against the bagage floor rib. Used a crescent wrench to bend a slight curve into the mounting flange to match the skin contour. Kind of a pain to figure out how to drill the floor rib for the plastic mount. Angle drills just would not fit into the space between the rigs to drill it. Here's the process i used.
Predrill the plastic block with #40 in the drill press. Cleco the step with the plastic block in place. Clamp the plastic block to the floor rib and then remove the step. Finally, use a 12" long #40 drill through the hole in the outer side skin to match drill the floor rib using the predrilled #40 holes in the plastic block as a guide.
