Per instructions... I constructed a perfectly flat work surface for building the ailerons and flaps. An 8 ft long 1x12" shelf board with (2) 1" x 4" boards as "strongbacks" to straigen and support the shelf board work surface. Attachment screws were countersunk to maintain a flat work surface.
