Brief Description: Applied firewall sealant to firewall penetrations
50-07: Applied firewall sealant on and around the firewall penetrations using 3M Fire Barrier 2000+. Placed double zip ties around the right throttle cable, left choke cable and the FF-1222 Manifold Pressure Hose.
10-08: Replaced the strings in the Tailcone that are to be used to pull the rudder and H-Stab cables because they have disentegrated. Vacuumed and wiped the inside of the Tailcone and horizontal stabilizer (as far as I can reach) before installing them. The parts have accumulated a lot of dust the past 5 years. Got help from the FBO to put the wings in the wing cradle. I will install them after the TC is connected to the Fuselage. Torqued the bolts on the front of the V-stabilizer and applied torque seal. Cleaned the upper surface of the bottom rib of the V-Stab with denatured alcohol and sprayed primer through the lightening holes.
