Brief Description:  Work on cooling system, empennage & glare shield

Made more adjustments to the position of the oil cooler so that it will "drop" easily on the guides on the Cowl Bottom. Also repositioned (rotated) the VA-214 Oil Coller Hose to see if it will not pull the oil cooler upward. No significant change noted. Sanded the left air inlet to make it easier for the FF-1207B Shroud Hose to be connected and disconnected. Also sanded the right side of the slot for the nose gear leg in the Cowl Bottom to have more clearance between the edge and the gear leg.

Removed the Horizontal Stabilizer after disconnecting the anti-servo tab from the Trim Motor. This is to inspect the ribs in the stabilizer and also to have the Tailcone ready for connection to the Fuselage. Lowered the Tailcone to about the same level as the Fuselage to facilitate assembly (for later). Not easy to do the above work by myself but was able to lower it in stages using several saw horses of varying heights.

Turned the Canopy over which is not yet attached to the Fuselage to prepare for installation of the RV-12 Glare Shield. Drilled 2 holes, one on each side, through the shield and into the WD-1219 Canopy Frame. Also drilled 1 hole into the center of the shield and the Canopy Bow. Will not install the shield yet because I want to paint the forward part of the canopy bubble to cover the inside of the Canopy Fairing and the black sealant I used to attach the fairing.
