Brief Description:  Work on Cooler Box cable & Secured brake lines

49-08: Modified a grommet for the firewall penetration for the Cooler Box and Engine Controls cables, and installed it on the firewall. While looking at the bottom of the Panel Base, I noticed that I have not installed the cushion clamp that holds the brake lines.

32-02. Went back to this section for instructions on securing the brake lines at the bottom and forward part of the Panel Base. I had to disconnect the brake lines and reroute them in front of the wires coming from the avionics above the Panel Base. It was hard to reach the bottom forward of the Panel base with one hand and at the same time squeezing the cushioned clamp and installing a bolt. I was eventually successful.

Routed the CTA-740 Black Push Cable from the middle instrument panel, through the firewall penetration and behind the engine. I was able to install only 2 sets of cushioned clamps on the engine mount to secure the cable. The space is really tight and it is always difficult to bolt together 2 cushioned clamps together. This was also time-consuming. I will place the 3rd set of cushioned clamps later and may need to change the orientation of the other clamps to see if I can minimize rubbing by the cable with the engine mount and also if there is position that allows better access when I have to do maintenance work in the future.
