Brief Description:  Troubleshooting low fuel pressure

I've been watching the fuel pressure closely and the last time I ran the engine the PSI was in the low 2's. With the Master Switch on and the Facet pump running I was seeing 1.3 to 1.6 PSI (Red range). Removed the carpeting and the F-1229 Baggage Floor Cover and "whacked" the fuel pump with a piece of wood. There was no change in the low fuel pressure.

45A-05: Disconnected the 101690-000 Fuel Pressure Sensor from the F4 DTX-S and checked for blockage and there was none. Reconnected the parts. Checked the wires and butt splices at the fuel pressure sensor and they all looked OK. Checked the fuel line connections and they're OK too.

MM-12-9 to 12-14, PAP G6-1: Tried pneumatic synchronization of the carburetors with the Carb-Mate but I could not get it right. It seems when I adjusted the idle adjustment hardware I made things worse. Redid mechanical synchronization but will try pneumatic synchronization again tomorrow.

Cleaned the bottom of the wings of dried adhesive nd prints. Most of the wings are relatively clean now.

Hobbs on engine start up was 1.7.
